information in the imprint (in this privacy policy also referred to as “We”, “Us”). There you will also find

We process only those personal data that you provide to us (by visiting our
website or by the information you give in a contact form or a newsletter registration), such as: first name, last
name, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth/age, gender, bank details (e.g. credit card number, account
number), IP address; however, not all of the listed types of data are necessarily affected or required in every case.
Special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art 9 GDPR are not processed by us in the context of this
website.
3. Processing of personal data
The processing of your personal data is carried out primarily for the fulfilment
of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art 6(1)(b) GDPR), since without this data we
cannot prepare, conclude or fulfil a contract with you. Furthermore, processing takes place to safeguard our
legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR), in particular for the
operational security of the website, for claims management, for direct marketing in analogue and digital form, for
retention marketing, for statistical analysis and for the improvement of our service offering and its quality (see
Section 6 for the right of withdrawal).
We will process your personal data only to the extent covered by the GDPR.
Transmission of your personal data to third parties does not normally take place. If – for example for the
fulfilment of a contract – a transfer to third parties should be necessary, this transfer will be carried out in
accordance with the provisions of the GDPR. In this case, we ask you to also observe the privacy policies of those
third parties, because they may apply. Excluded from this are uses for statistical and similar purposes; for these
purposes no personal data but exclusively anonymised data will be transmitted, which do not allow identification of
a natural person and cannot be assigned to any specific natural person (see also Sections 8, 9, 10).

measures, such as protection against unauthorised access and technical data security precautions.
Please note, however, that notwithstanding these efforts it cannot be completely

5. Retention of personal data
We will retain your personal data only as long as this is necessary to fulfil contractual
or legal obligations (corresponding retention obligations may arise, for example, from tax law provisions or from
provisions on product liability). If this necessity no longer exists, the data will be deleted.

Subject to any applicable legal confidentiality obligations, you have the right at any
time to obtain information about your stored personal data, their origin, the purpose of processing and, if
applicable, the recipient of these data. You also have the right to request the rectification, transfer, restriction

§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the
rental of the holiday cottages (country house, Almstüberl) and the holiday apartment concluded with Schiestl's Ferienhütten.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract, Contracting Parties
The contract is concluded between the guest and Schiestl's Ferienhütten as soon as the
reservation has been confirmed in writing (by email or via the booking platform). The conclusion of the
contract obliges both contracting parties to its performance.
§ 3 Services, Prices, Payments
The guest is obliged to pay the agreed prices for the booked accommodation. All prices are quoted in euros inclusive of statutory VAT. Payment methods and
deadlines are agreed individually at the time of booking.
§ 4 Cancellation by the Guest
A withdrawal by the guest from the concluded contract requires the written consent
of Schiestl's Ferienhütten. The specific cancellation conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.
§ 5 Occupancy
The agreed number of persons must not exceed the maximum occupancy specified for the respective accommodation
(country house up to 15 persons, Almstüberl up to 12 persons, holiday apartment up to 6 persons).
§ 6 Pets and Consideration
The guest is liable for damage to the accommodation and its furnishings caused by himself or his fellow travelers.
§ 7 Withdrawal by Schiestl's Ferienhütten
Schiestl's Ferienhütten is entitled to withdraw from the contract for a materially justified reason,
in particular if force majeure or other circumstances beyond its control make the performance of the
contract impossible.
§ 8 Lost Property
No liability is assumed for items left behind. These will only be sent on request and against reimbursement of costs.
§ 9 Final Provisions
Should one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, this
shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Austrian law applies.
